SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Anna Marie Alteno of Woodstock, who passed away on March 22, 2017; and

WHEREAS, Anna Alteno was born in Chicago to Frank and Irene (Sweeney) Dindia on September 25, 1948; she married Len Alteno in Woodstock on July 21, 2006; and

WHEREAS, Anna Alteno worked at Composite One in Woodstock for 50 years as a price support coordinator; and

WHEREAS, Anna Alteno was an active member of the McHenry County Marine Corps League; she enjoyed taking day trips with friends, eating out, and discovering new restaurants and wineries; she loved the companionship of her dog, Kona; and

WHEREAS, Anna Alteno was preceded in death by her husband, Len; her sister, Virginia Ledene; and her brother, Michael Dindia; and

WHEREAS, Anna Alteno is survived by her niece and nephews, Jane, Jimmy, and Danny Ledene, and Angelo Dindia; her great-nephews, Timothy and Lucas Arfa; her aunt, Marie Dicicco; and many loving cousins; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Anna Marie Alteno, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Anna Alteno as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
