SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Jerome F. Hutchison of Harvard, who
4passed away on March 20, 2017; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Jerome Hutchison was born in Chicago to Joseph and
6Edna (O'Brien) Hutchison on January 20, 1932; he served in the
7United States Army during the Korean War; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Jerome Hutchison retired from the Chicago Fire
9Department as Captain, after 32 years of service; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Jerome Hutchison was a member of St. Joseph
11Catholic Church in Harvard; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Jerome Hutchison was preceded in death by his
13second wife, Alice; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Jerome Hutchison is survived by his first wife,
15Janine Dimitrakopolus; his children, Thomas (Barbara), and
16Timothy (Lucy), Robert (Jennifer) Keane, Joan (Greg) Tastad,
17and Lori (Kurt Steigerwald) Logan; 15 grandchildren, Jaclyn,
18James, Jason, Keith, Kelsie, Joshua, Scarlet, Justin, Robby,
19Bryana, Jordan, Elizabeth, Skylor, Brandon, Joseph; and six
20great-grandchildren, Aiden, Maggie, Declan, Olivia, James Jr.,

1and Jackson; therefore, be it
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
4Jerome F. Hutchison, and extend our sincere condolences to his
5family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
6further
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
8presented to the family of Jerome Hutchison as an expression of
9our deepest sympathy.
