SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of John Michael Ferrero Jr. of Crystal Lake,
4who passed away on March 19, 2017; and
 
5    WHEREAS, John Ferrero was born in Chicago to John M. and
6Mary Frances on January 28, 1939; he graduated from St. Patrick
7High School in 1957; he then attended Loyola University in
8Chicago, graduating in 1966; he married Lois B. (Galizia) on
9June 26, 1965, and they enjoyed 51 years together; and
 
10    WHEREAS, John Ferrero was the proud owner of Ferrero
11Brothers, Inc.; he traveled the world buying, selling, and
12repairing offset printing equipment; and
 
13    WHEREAS, John Ferrero was an extremely caring and generous
14man; he will be missed by his fishing buddy, Ted, and the rest
15of his family and friends; his favorite pastime was chasing his
16children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews whenever
17possible; and
 
18    WHEREAS, John Ferrero was preceded in death by his sister,
19Patricia Stanton; his sister-in-law, Theresa Pryor; and his
20brother-in-law, Norman; and

1    WHEREAS, John Ferrero is survived by his children,
2Christine (Scott) Craig, John M.(Karen Burgess) Ferrero III,
3Jean-Marie (Tom) Brickey, and Scott Ferrero; his
4grandchildren, Lauren, Nathaniel, Katherine, and Victoria
5Craig, Annette, Hope, Hadley, and Skyler Ferrero, and Amelia,
6Grace, Joel, and Gwyneth Brickey; his niece, Jessica (Robert)
7Mihm; and many other nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
 
8    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
9ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
10John Michael Ferrero Jr., and extend our sincere condolences to
11his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
12further
 
13    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
14presented to the family of John Ferrero as an expression of our
15deepest sympathy.
