SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Martin J. Brugger Jr., who passed away on
4December 31, 2016; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Martin Brugger Jr. was born in Beloit, Wisconsin
6to Martin J. Sr. and Nellie Brugger on May 31, 1929; he served
7in the United States Air Force during the Korean War and
8married Thelma M. Dimon in Woodstock on August 23, 1952; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Martin Brugger Jr. worked in the tool and die
10industry as a mold maker; he also worked for a time as a
11security guard; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Martin Brugger Jr. was a lifetime member of the
13VFW; he enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Martin Brugger Jr. was preceded in death by his
15parents; his loving wife of 49 years, Thelma; and his brothers,
16Dale and Don Brugger; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Martin Brugger Jr. is survived by his son, Tom
18(Claudette) Brugger; his daughter, Wendy (Craig) Peters; his
19grandchildren, Tracy Peters, Ryan (Audrey) Peters, and Junior
20(Vanessa) Tinsley; his great-grandchildren, Jennifer, Cody,

1Kane, and Adrian; his brother, Jerry (Carol) Brugger; his
2sisters, Joyce Wood, and Linda (Rollie) Burns; and numerous
3nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
6Martin J. Brugger Jr., and extend our sincere condolences to
7his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
8further
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
10presented to the family of Martin Brugger Jr. as an expression
11of our deepest sympathy.
