| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Rose Mary Weingart of McHenry, who passed | 4 | | away on March 15, 2017; and | 5 | | WHEREAS, Rose Mary Weingart was born the daughter of | 6 | | William F. and Pauline B. (Happ) Selzer on August 23, 1924; she | 7 | | married the love of her life, Donald P. Weingart, at St. Thomas | 8 | | the Apostle Catholic Church in Crystal Lake on October 5, 1946; | 9 | | they recently celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Rose Mary Weingart had a lifelong interest in | 11 | | cooking, baking, sewing, and the occasional debate; she | 12 | | devotedly attended her grandchildren's many sporting events; | 13 | | she enjoyed her exercise groups, dominoes, card clubs, and | 14 | | vacations to Sayner, Wisconsin with her family and friends; her | 15 | | family was not only her priority, but her passion in life; she | 16 | | loved family gatherings that included spending time with her | 17 | | three children, seven grandchildren, and her adored | 18 | | great-grandchild; and
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Rose Mary Weingart was preceded in death by her | 20 | | parents; her brothers and sisters, Lawrence, Norie, Richard, | 21 | | Francis, Edward, Eleanor Aufderheide, Loretta Anderson, and | 22 | | Angeline Raycraft; and her son-in-law, David S. Diedrich; and

| 1 | | WHEREAS, Rose Mary Weingart is survived by her husband, | 2 | | Donald; her children, Alan (Mary) Weingart, Karen Diedrich, and | 3 | | Jane (Brad) Hertel; her grandchildren, Andrew (Katelynn) | 4 | | Weingart, Nathan Weingart, Sarah (James) Frank, Todd (Caitlin) | 5 | | Diedrich, Kathleen Diedrich, Emily (Brad) Voss, and Erik | 6 | | Hertel; and her great-grandchild, Blake Diedrich; therefore, | 7 | | be it
| 8 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | 9 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 10 | | Rose Mary Weingart, and extend our sincere condolences to her | 11 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it | 12 | | further | 13 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 14 | | presented to the family of Rose Mary Weingart as an expression | 15 | | of our deepest sympathy.
