SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Ann E. Franklin of Peoria, who passed away on March 10, 2017; and

WHEREAS, Ann Franklin was born in Peoria to William H. and Mary (Haas) Franklin on June 4, 1944; and

WHEREAS, Ann Franklin worked as a public relations officer for The American Red Cross; and

WHEREAS, Ann Franklin was preceded in death by her parents; and

WHEREAS, Ann Franklin is survived by two brothers, William (Gloria) Franklin and Robert (Sheri) Franklin; one sister, Mary Jo Franklin; one niece, two nephews, two grand-nieces, and one grand-nephew; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Ann E. Franklin, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Ann Franklin as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
