SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Robert A. "Bob" Finger of Crystal Lake, who passed away on February 27, 2017; and

WHEREAS, Robert Finger was born in Chicago to Theodore and V. Dorothy (Smiley) Finger on August 23, 1952, and he spent most of his life in McHenry County; he also lived in Crystal Lake and Algonquin; and

WHEREAS, Robert Finger was a longtime faithful employee of the Black Dot Group; he was a member of the Friends of the Crystal Lake Library and the Crystal Lake Computer Club; he enjoyed computers and all types of technology; he was also an avid music lover and vinyl collector; and

WHEREAS, Robert Finger was preceded in death by his father, Theodore Finger, Sr. and his paternal and maternal grandparents; and

WHEREAS, Robert Finger is survived by his sons, Jonathan and Daniel; his former wife and friend, Shari Hahn Finger; his mother, Dorothy; his brothers, Ted, Jr. (Gloria), Jim (Jane), Mike, Tom (the late Diane), and Pat (Sue) Finger; his sisters, Sandy (Dan) Kaiser and Karen (Bob) Gray; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, as well as many good and faithful friends; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Robert A. "Bob" Finger, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Robert Finger as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
