SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Russell Edward Koch of McHenry, who passed away on February 13, 2017 at the age of 64; and

WHEREAS, Russell Koch was born in Chicago to Arnold and Dolores (Wedrall) Koch on December 14, 1952; and

WHEREAS, Russell Koch worked as a Union Electrician for local #150 for 22 years and was a longtime member of the Model A Club; he was adored by his children and will be greatly missed by all who knew him; and

WHEREAS, Russell Koch was preceded in death by his parents; and

WHEREAS, Russell Koch is survived by his loving children, Michael J. Koch, Ryan E. Koch, and Marisa M. Koch; his grandson, Lucas Michael Koch; and his brother and sister, Wayne Koch and Gail Burt; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Russell Edward Koch and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Russell Koch as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
