SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Ralph B. Hipenbecker Jr. of Crystal Lake,
4who passed away on February 2, 2017 at the age of 80; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Ralph Hipenbecker Jr. served in the United States
6Army as a Private Second Class in Korea with the 6th Armored
7Division; he worked as a registered barber for many years at
8the Plaza Barber Shop; he was then employed as a tool and die
9maker at Tri-Cast Corp, both in Crystal Lake; he retired in
102001; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Ralph Hipenbecker Jr. enjoyed bowling, boating,
12dancing, billiards, fishing, and country music; his two
13favorite teams were the Green Bay Packers and the World
14Champion Chicago Cubs; he was a parishioner at St. Thomas the
15Apostle Catholic Church in Crystal Lake; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Ralph Hipenbecker Jr. was preceded in death by his
17wife, Mary (Novinska) Hipenbecker; his sister, Barbara (Fred)
18Stepper; and his parents; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Ralph Hipenbecker Jr. is survived by his children,
20Annette (Michael Sr.) Barrett, Bob (Cheri) Hipenbecker, Diane
21(Jim Sabel) Hipenbecker, and Lisa (Steve) Amidei; and his

1grandchildren, Cassie, Tom, Tyler, Nathaniel, Alexandra,
2Kelsey, Gavin, Brandon, Clare, Michael Jr., and Viola;
3therefore, be it
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
6Ralph B. Hipenbecker Jr., and extend our sincere condolences to
7his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
8further
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
10presented to the family of Ralph Hipenbecker Jr. as an
11expression of our deepest sympathy.
