SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Donald James Wagman, who passed away on
4February 6, 2017; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Donald Wagman was born in Elgin to James M. and
6Elizabeth Ann (Betty) Wagman on May 17, 1964; he graduated from
7Crystal Lake South High School and married Donna Losey in
8Woodstock on June 21, 1997; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Donald Wagman served 25 years in the United States
10Army as a Sergeant 1st Class; he worked as a recruiter; his
11overseas assignment was in Germany, serving with the military
12police; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Donald Wagman was a member of the Red Cliff Band
14of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians; he enjoyed the outdoors,
15boating, fishing, hunting, listening to music, and playing the
16drums; he was an all-around handyman; he was a family man and
17enjoyed traveling with his wife and children; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Donald Wagman was preceded in death by his father,
19James Morris Wagman; his nephew, Robert Massman; and his
20brothers-in-law, Gary Weber, and Tom Gregerson; and

1    WHEREAS, Donald Wagman is survived by his wife, Donna; his
2children, Cameron and James Wagman, Alexis Wagman, Renee Hardy,
3and Kelsey Wagman; his granddaughter, Nova; his mother,
4Elizabeth "Betty" Wagman; his brothers, Ken (Tracy) Wagman,
5David Wagman, Bryan (Wendy) Wagman, and Robert (Sarah Lee)
6Wagman; his sisters, Theresa (Herbert) Hanson, Elise (Mark)
7Wood, Bonnie (Edward) McAllen, Linda Gregerson, and Carol
8Wagman; his brother-in-law, Mark Massman; many aunts and uncles
9in northern Wisconsin and Minnesota; and nieces, nephews,
10grandnieces, and cousins; therefore, be it
 
11    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
12ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
13Donald James Wagman, and extend our sincere condolences to his
14family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
15further
 
16    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
17presented to the family of Donald Wagman as an expression of
18our deepest sympathy.
