SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Lois Joy Seymour (Hangebrauck) Wilson of
4Waukegan, who passed away on February 14, 2017; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Lois Wilson was a lifelong resident of Waukegan;
6while family and friends left the city where she was raised,
7she remained and raised her four sons; she was able to support
8her family as a result of her 43 year career at Chicago Title
9from where she retired as an Assistant Vice President; she also
10worked for 22 years at the Genesee and Academy Theaters as a
11bookkeeper; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Lois Wilson was active with the Affiliate
13Committee of the Lake County Board of Realtors; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Lois Wilson met her second husband, Harry Wilson,
15in 1982, expanding her family, and gaining her beloved first
16daughter and their family; her greatest accomplishment and joy
17of her life was always her family who gave her the most love
18and happiness; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Lois Wilson was preceded in death by her two
20youngest sons, Douglas and Kevin; her parents, Del and Esther
21Hangebrauck; her first husband, Robert Seymour; a loving

1companion, Michael Rosko Jr.; her second husband, Harry Wilson;
2her daughters-in-law, Karen Seymour and Dianne Seymour; her
3beloved sister, Pearl Rundquist; her brother-in-law, Walter
4Rundquist; her brother, Cliff Brauck; and four lifelong
5friends, Jackie Henderson Cash, Mary Lou Knoll, Lucy Clark, and
6Joyce Servais; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Lois Wilson is survived by her sons, Michael
8Seymour and Stephen (Betty "Sue") Seymour; her
9daughter-in-law, Robin Seymour; and a beloved stepdaughter,
10Pam (John) Weber; she was blessed with 12 grandchildren, Dennis
11Johnson, Steve (Angie) Seymour, Tracy Favor, Kelly Seymour,
12Julia Zalubowski, Angela (Ramon) Moreno, Brian Seymour, Kim
13Seymour, Devin Seymour, Jordan Seymour, Grayson Seymour, and
14Jessica Seymour; she enjoyed 13 great-grandchildren, Olivia,
15Gabi, Jaleigh, Gabriella, Nicholas, Allexis, Samantha, Maya,
16Aaron, Evan, Charlie, Rachel, and Joel; her brother, Cal
17(Sammye) Hangebrauck; and many extremely special nieces and
18nephews, including Ken, Kathy, Larry, and Vicki Rundquist,
19Linda (Hugo) Paar, Sharon, and Chuck Lowrance, Don (Victoria)
20Wilson, and Karen Brauck; her special first cousin, Jan
21Boettle; and her closest friends Karen Hansen, Elmer Knoll,
22Tina and Cliff Nighsonger, Elaine Grant, Judy Laukauskas, Judy
23March, and ElderCare representative Janine Zarembay;
24therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
3Lois Joy Seymour Wilson, and extend our sincere condolences to
4her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
5further
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
7presented to the family of Lois Wilson as an expression of our
8deepest sympathy.
