SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Ted Kuhnen of Prophetstown, who passed
4away on November 14, 2018; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Ted Kuhnen was born in Champaign to Harold and
6Kathryn Fahr Kuhnen on January 30, 1936; he was a member of the
7United States Army Reserves for six years; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Ted Kuhnen worked as an assistant farm adviser in
9Whiteside County; he then farmed north of Morrison for three
10years; after farming, he went to work at Erie Lumber & Grain
11and then eventually Hooppole Lumber & Grain, from where he
12retired; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Ted Kuhnen is survived by his wife; his daughters,
14Joy Burns, Cindy Saad, and Betsy Hull; his sons, Don and Jeff;
15his 15 grandchildren; his 14 great-grandchildren; and his
16sister, Linda McCormick; therefore, be it
 
17    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
18ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
19Ted Kuhnen and extend our sincere condolences to his family,
20friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

1    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
2presented to the family of Ted Kuhnen as an expression of our
3deepest sympathy.
