SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Howard A. Donohue of Wadsworth, formerly of Waukegan, who passed away on October 18, 2018; and

WHEREAS, Howard Donohue was born in Waukegan to John and Helen (Pias) Donohue; and

WHEREAS, Howard Donohue was employed at Abbott Laboratories for over 33 years; and

WHEREAS, Howard Donohue was a longtime parishioner of the Immaculate Conception Church in Waukegan and was currently a parishioner of the Church of St. Patrick in Wadsworth; he was a member of the Warren Township Senior Center and the Abbott Retirees Club; and

WHEREAS, Howard Donohue was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Robert, John L., Michael, and David; and his sisters, Patricia, Geraldine, and Janet; and

WHEREAS, Howard Donohue is survived by his wife of 53 years, Therese; his daughter, Therese Elizabeth (David) Wiatrowski; his siblings, Thomas (Jan) Donohue, Mary Lee (Edward) Singer, Rosalie (Ronald) Henry, and Sharon (John) McFarland; and his many nieces, nephews, and cousins; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Howard A. Donohue and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Howard Donohue as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
