SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Shari L. Caine, who passed away on March 30, 2018; and

WHEREAS, Shari Caine was born in Shelbyville on April 19, 1965; she graduated from Southern Illinois University and received her master's degree from Eastern Illinois University; and

WHEREAS, Shari Caine was the Executive Director of the Des Plaines History Center; she joined the center in 1997; and

WHEREAS, Shari Caine was a member of the Des Plaines Kiwanis Club and the Des Plaines Chamber of Commerce; and

WHEREAS, Shari Caine was the loving wife of Dennis Fratamico; the beloved daughter of Mary (Robert) Abbott and Ed (the late Ann) Caine; and the dearest niece and cousin to many; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Shari L. Caine, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Shari Caine as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
