SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Helen M. "Sue" Gladue of Waukegan, who passed away on July 14, 2018; and

WHEREAS, Sue Gladue was born in Newberry, Michigan to Ivan J. and Margaret V. (Stelter) Berry on December 3, 1947; she married James Gladue on June 11, 1966; and

WHEREAS, Sue Gladue worked as a beautician for over 30 years at the Westmoreland Nursing Home; and

WHEREAS, Sue Gladue enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandson; and

WHEREAS, Sue Gladue was preceded in death by her parents; and

WHEREAS, Sue Gladue is survived by her husband of 52 years, James; her daughter, Carol Koetz; her son, Jim Gladue; her granddaughters, Cassidy Lindey and Julia Koetz; her great-grandson, Anthony J. Lindey; her brothers, Eugene (Jeannie) and Ronald Berry; and her sisters, Doris (Ron) Abee and Lani Dixon; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Helen M. "Sue" Gladue, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Sue Gladue as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
