SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Mary Jo O'Neill Homan, who passed away on December 10, 2016 at the age of 64; and

WHEREAS, Mary Jo Homan had a celebrated career as an account executive for Pioneer Press; she was an active member of the Art Institute of Chicago and a docent for the Chicago Architecture Foundation; and

WHEREAS, Mary Jo Homan was the loving wife of 31 years of John T. Homan; and the dedicated mother to Amanda Jo and John J.; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her family and friends, mourn the passing of Mary Jo O'Neill Homan, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Mary Jo Homan as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
