SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Frances Graham-Stults of Carlinville, who
4passed away on February 7, 2017; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Frances Graham-Stults was born in Atwater to
6William and Pearl (Bacon) Crouch on December 12, 1925; she
7attended Atwater and South Standard City Grade Schools and
8Carlinville High School; she married Henry Graham on December
912, 1941; she married Eldon Leroy Stults in Piggott, Arkansas
10on August 18, 1948; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Frances Graham-Stults was a nurse's aid for the
12Carlinville Area Hospital, a ward clerk, and a housewife and
13mother; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Frances Graham-Stults was an avid fan of the St.
15Louis Cardinals and enjoyed gardening; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Frances Graham-Stults was preceded in death by her
17parents; her first husband, Henry; her second husband, Eldon;
18her daughters, Judith Jean Graham-Richie Scott, and Brenda Lou
19Stults-Volsen-Dolder; one grandchild; her siblings, Dorothy
20Steward, Helen Clevenger, Harold Crouch, Stanley Crouch,
21Charles Crouch, and Marquerite Walden-Riecks-Engelman; and

1    WHEREAS, Frances Graham-Stults is survived by her
2children, Margaret Graham-Burleson, William Henry Graham,
3Edwin Lee Stults, Thomas Roy Stults, and Rebecca Jane
4Stults-Delich; 16 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; nine
5great-great-grandchildren; her sister, Mary Jane
6Rosentreter-Cottingham; her sister, Wilma Modlin; her brother,
7Millard Herbert "Herbie" Crouch; and several nieces and
8nephews; therefore, be it
 
9    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
10ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
11Frances Graham-Stults, and extend our sincere condolences to
12her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
13further
 
14    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
15presented to the family of Frances Graham-Stults as an
16expression of our deepest sympathy.
