SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Robert Daniel "Danny" Hanner of Bunker Hill, who passed away on January 20, 2018; and

WHEREAS, Robert Hanner was born in Wood River to William Gene Hanner and Betty Jean (Carter) Hanner on April 11, 1959; he married Dee Anna Schuetz in Bunker Hill on September 26, 1981; and

WHEREAS, Robert Hanner worked as a computer technician for Western Union; and

WHEREAS, Robert Hanner was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Bunker Hill; he enjoyed Quarter Midget Racing, Nascar, Sprint Cars, the St. Louis Cardinals, feeding the birds, and watching his grandchildren play ball; and

WHEREAS, Robert Hanner was preceded in death by his mother; his brother, John Hanner; his sister, Rebecca Ann Hancock; and his nephew, Ryan Hanner; and

WHEREAS, Robert Hanner is survived by his father; his wife, Dee Hanner; his children, Jason Hanner, Dea (Dusty) Bennett, Sara (Justin) Paul, and Tara (Jake) Provaznik; his grandchildren, Danica, Ryleigh, Jaxon, Wrigley, Laytnn "Eddie," and Gracie; his brothers, Mike Hanner, Jim (Debbie) Hanner, and Kenny (Deb) Hanner; his brother-in-law, Bud Hancock; and his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, and great-great-nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Robert Daniel "Danny" Hanner and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Robert Hanner as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
