SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Ruthann "Ruthie" Montgomery (Rundle)
4Wellhausen of St. Charles, who passed away on October 14, 2017;
5and
 
6    WHEREAS, Ruthie Wellhausen was born in Boston,
7Massachusetts to Stephen Schwark and Elaine Rundle-Schwark on
8July 10, 1976; she graduated from Springfield High School and
9Eastern Illinois University, where she studied Speech
10Communication and served in the student government; she married
11Sean Wellhausen in Springfield on June 12, 1998; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Ruthie Wellhausen was most recently Vice
13President of Sales for the Loan Repayment Assistant Program
14Association; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Ruthie Wellhausen spent her life loving people and
16building relationships; from the time of her diagnosis, she
17decided to craft a bucket list and make meaningful memories
18with trips to New York City, Hawaii, Colorado, and a spiritual
19pilgrimage to Medjugorje; and
 
20    WHEREAS, Ruthie Wellhausen is survived by her husband,
21Sean; her children, Gail Renner, Alair Wellhausen, and Mason

1Wellhausen; her parents; her sister, Wanda Rundle; her nephew,
2Alexander Salazar; and her many aunts, uncles, and cousins;
3therefore, be it
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
6Ruthann "Ruthie" Montgomery (Rundle) Wellhausen and extend our
7sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew
8and loved her; and be it further
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
10presented to the family of Ruthie Wellhausen as an expression
11of our deepest sympathy.
