HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives hold in high esteem those students who admirably demonstrate their true potential as lifelong learners, involved citizens, and productive members of society through their achievements in various venues of competition; and

WHEREAS, Caleb Grohmann of Red Bud is a senior studying animal sciences at the University of Missouri-Columbia; and

WHEREAS, Caleb Grohmann recently enhanced his already impressive record of achievement when he earned an Outstanding Senior in Animal Sciences recognition from the Division of Animal Sciences in the College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources; and

WHEREAS, Caleb Grohmann will receive his Outstanding Senior in Animal Sciences award at the Division of Animal Sciences Undergraduate Awards Program on April 27, 2018; and

WHEREAS, Additionally, Caleb Grohmann has been active as a member and president of the University of Missouri Swine Club, the University of Missouri Meats Judging Team, and the National Junior Swine Association Junior Board of Directors; and

WHEREAS, It is fitting and proper that the Illinois House of Representatives should pause in its diverse legislative duties and responsibilities in order to recognize such outstanding collegiate students as Caleb Grohmann at momentous times in life; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Caleb Grohmann and wish him continued success; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Caleb Grohmann as an expression of our esteem and respect.
