HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives wish to congratulate the Bigham Family on 100 years of showing jersey cattle at the Perry County Fair; and

WHEREAS, Gilbert Bigham first showed jersey cattle at the Perry County Fair in 1916; and

WHEREAS, The Bigham Family has helped contribute towards the positive history of animal showing at county fairs in Illinois; and

WHEREAS, The Bigham Family represents the holistic family values of Southern Illinoisans; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate the Bigham Family on 100 years of showing jersey cattle at the Perry County Fair and we wish them another 100 years; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the Bigham Family as an expression of our esteem and respect.
