HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives wish to recognize Becky Glazier on the occasion of her retirement from the Illinois State Board of Elections on December 30, 2016; and

WHEREAS, Becky Glazier joined the State Board of Elections on February 8, 1984 when she started working as a Secretary II in the Division of Election Operations, eventually working her way up to the position of Assistant to the Executive Director; and

WHEREAS, Becky Glazier has represented the State Board of Elections as a member and office holder with the National Association of State Election Directors and the Election Center Professional Education Committee; and

WHEREAS, Becky Glazier has been a dedicated employee with the State Board of Elections for nearly 33 years; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we recognize Becky Glazier on her retirement from the Illinois State Board of Elections and we wish her the best in all her future endeavors; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Becky Glazier as an expression of our esteem and respect.
