HOUSE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Phillip
4Anthony Harrell Sr., who passed away on January 12, 2017; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Phillip Harrell Sr. was born to Jerry and Francine
6Harrell on December 2, 1972; he attended Saint Thomas Aquinas
7Elementary School and John Marshall Metropolitan High School;
8and
 
9    WHEREAS, Phillip Harrell Sr. worked with his father at the
10Department of Unemployment Security before moving to Sikeston,
11Missouri, where he met Latasha Turner; they married in June of
122006; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Phillip Harrell Sr. enjoyed tennis and
14basketball; he was a member of Proviso Missionary Baptist
15Church; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Phillip Harrell Sr. is survived by his wife, Tasha
17Harrell; his sons, Phillip A. Harrell Jr., and Zaylen; his
18parents, Jerry S. and Francine E. Harrell; his sister, Marshan
19D. (Chuck) Washington; his brother, Jerry S. (Connie) Harrell
20Jr.; his brother, Rev. John F. (Rahshedah) Harrell; his nieces,
21Tiara Delk, Elizabeth Delk, Lashon Delk, Bryanna Harrell,

1Shante Perkins, Persheda Perkins, Sanaa Williams, and Kayla
2Harrell; his nephews, Gerald Delk, Jerry S. Harrell III,
3Cameron Harrell, Jayden Harrell, Andre Morris, Kaden Harrell,
4and Tanden Harrell; and many great-nieces, great-nephews,
5uncles, and aunts; therefore, be it
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE
7HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
8mourn the passing of Phillip Anthony Harrell Sr., and extend
9our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who
10knew and loved him; and be it further
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
12presented to the family of Phillip Harrell Sr. as an expression
13of our deepest sympathy.
