SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Harold F. Winkelman of Woodstock, who
4passed away on August 4, 2015; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Harold Winkelman was born on March 11, 1922 in Des
6Plaines; his parents were William and Josephine (nee Seegers)
7Winkelman; he married Maryann H. Gies on June 2, 1945; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Harold Winkelman worked on his dairy farm for most
9of his life; after selling the farm, he went to work for Seneca
10Township; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Harold Winkelman was a member of St. John's
12Lutheran Church in Woodstock; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Harold Winkelman enjoyed doing his yard work,
14gardening, and spending time with his family; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Harold Winkelman was preceded in death by his
16parents; his wife, Maryann; a son, Michael Winkelman; a
17daughter, Diane Gluth; and 8 brothers and sisters; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Harold Winkelman is survived by a son, Kenneth
19(Jan) Winkelman; a daughter, Debbie (Rick) Labaz; 6

1grandchildren, Ken (Katie) Winkelman, Gail (Sean) Anuskewicz,
2Rev. Paul (Melissa) Winkelman, Sarah (Adam Marshall) Labaz,
3Mark Winkelman, and Brook Winkelman; a great-grandson, Emmett
4Winkelman; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and
5great-nephews; therefore, be it
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
7ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his
8family and friends, mourn the passing of Harold F. Winkelman;
9and be it further
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
11presented to the family of Harold Winkelman as an expression of
12our sympathy.
