SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Harold F. Winkelman of Woodstock, who passed away on August 4, 2015; and

WHEREAS, Harold Winkelman was born on March 11, 1922 in Des Plaines; his parents were William and Josephine (nee Seegers) Winkelman; he married Maryann H. Gies on June 2, 1945; and

WHEREAS, Harold Winkelman worked on his dairy farm for most of his life; after selling the farm, he went to work for Seneca Township; and

WHEREAS, Harold Winkelman was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Woodstock; and

WHEREAS, Harold Winkelman enjoyed doing his yard work, gardening, and spending time with his family; and

WHEREAS, Harold Winkelman was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Maryann; a son, Michael Winkelman; a daughter, Diane Gluth; and 8 brothers and sisters; and

WHEREAS, Harold Winkelman is survived by a son, Kenneth (Jan) Winkelman; a daughter, Debbie (Rick) Labaz; 6 grandchildren, Ken (Katie) Winkelman, Gail (Sean) Anuskewicz, Rev. Paul (Melissa) Winkelman, Sarah (Adam Marshall) Labaz, Mark Winkelman, and Brook Winkelman; a great-grandson, Emmett Winkelman; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of Harold F. Winkelman; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Harold Winkelman as an expression of our sympathy.
