SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Donald E. LeMieux of Fox Lake, who passed away on July 22, 2015; and

WHEREAS, Donald LeMieux was born on September 16, 1924 in Marinette, Wisconsin; his parents were Clarence and Celina LeMieux; he married Margaret Oliverius May 30, 1966 at St. Joseph's Church in Racine, Wisconsin; and

WHEREAS, Donald LeMieux and his brother Thomas owned and operated the One Hour Dry Cleaners in Wilmette for many years; he later moved to a new location and opened the Plaza Delago Cleaners, where he spent more than 30 years serving the community; and

WHEREAS, Donald LeMieux was an avid Cubs fan and loved the Green Bay Packers; he also enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family; and

WHEREAS, Donald LeMieux is preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Thomas; a sister-in-law, Patricia; and a grandson, James; and

WHEREAS, Donald LeMieux is survived by his wife of 49 years, Margaret; 2 children, James (Jacqueline) Bronson and Margaret Suprak; 4 grandchildren, Margaret (Matthew) Reid, Jennifer (Brent) Beucler, Paula (Peter) Jedlicka, and John Suprak; 6 great-grandchildren, Chloe Jane, Carter James, Kade Jonathan, Kollin Peter, Cole James, and Owen Gray; and 6 nieces and nephews, James, Robert, Susan, Julie, Tom, and Loren; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of Donald E. LeMieux; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Donald LeMieux as an expression of our sympathy.
