SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Robert "Andy" Janocha of North Chicago, who passed away on June 4, 2015; and

WHEREAS, Robert Janocha attended the Milwaukee School of Engineering; and

WHEREAS, Robert Janocha retired from Abbott Laboratories in North Chicago; and

WHEREAS, Robert Janocha loved to read and do puzzle books and was a member of PRCU; he was a Vietnam Veteran in the United States Army and volunteered at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in North Chicago; and

WHEREAS, Robert Janocha was proceeded in death by his father, Ted; his uncle, Anthony Janocha; and his cousin, Anne (Isaacson) Lakiotis; and

WHEREAS, Robert Janocha is survived by his mother, Beverly Benlein; his 2 brothers, David Janocha and James Benlein; his 2 sisters, Sharon (Ron Kunda) Janocha and Becky (Bruce) Huffer; his 4 aunts, Anna Janocha, Mary Janocha, Theresa (the late Robert) Belec, and Josephine (the late Arthur) Isaacson; his 2 nephews, Dan (Joy) Huffer and Joe (Melissa) Huffer; his niece, Sarah (Reed) Stratton; his 2 godchildren, Jeannie Slusar and Daniel Huffer; and many cousins, great-nieces and great-nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Robert "Andy" Janocha, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Robert Janocha as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
