SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Antonio Z. Zavala, who passed away on May 31, 2015; and

WHEREAS, Antonio Zavala worked at BNSF Railway for 36 years; and

WHEREAS, Antonio Zavala enjoyed music, dancing with his wife, telling stories, and spending time with his loved ones, especially his grandchildren; and

WHEREAS, Antonio Zavala was preceded in death by his parents, Gavino and Eladia Zavala; and

WHEREAS, Antonio Zavala is survived by his beloved wife, Olga L. (nee Calderon); 3 loving daughters, Guadalupe Zavala, Heladia Zavala, and Maria (Izaiah) Munoz; and 4 cherished grandchildren, Izaiah, Jr. and Angel, Hector, and Lily Munoz; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of Antonio Z. Zavala; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Antonio Zavala as an expression of our sympathy.
