SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Diane Seeley, who passed away on March
423, 2015; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Diane Seeley was born in McHenry County, North
6Dakota on August 16, 1938 to Ralph and Irene Kemp; she earned
7her nursing degree from the Trinity School of Nursing in Minot,
8North Dakota and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing
9from St. Francis College in Joliet; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Diane Seeley and her husband, Ronald Seeley, moved
11their family to Harvard in 1966; she was active in the Welcome
12Wagon and raising her 4 children before working for many years
13at Kishwaukee Valley Medical Clinic in Woodstock; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Diane Seeley enjoyed spending time with her family
15and friends, playing cards, golfing, bowling, attending book
16clubs, cooking, and watching sports, including PGA Golf, the
17Chicago Cubs, and the Chicago Bulls; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Diane Seeley was preceded in death by her parents;
19her brother, Dennis; and her sister, Norma; and
 
20    WHEREAS, Diane Seeley is survived by her husband of 56

1years, Ronald; her daughter, Brenda, and her husband Paul
2Moore; her son, Thomas Seeley, and his wife, Lori; her son,
3Robert Seeley, and his wife, Julie; her son, Mark Seeley, and
4his wife, Laura; her grandchildren, Shannon, David, Jennifer
5(Nick) Bakakos, Brian, Kristine, Danny, Aubrey, Ryan, Taryn,
6Quinten, Brant, Caroline, Leah, and Conner; her
7great-granddaughter, Madison; and her sisters, Linda (Jerry)
8Branesky and Judy (Richard) Winje; along with many nieces,
9nephews, and friends; therefore, be it
 
10    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
11ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
12Diane Seeley, and extend our sincere condolences to her family,
13friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further
 
14    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
15presented to the family of Diane Seeley as an expression of our
16deepest sympathy.
