SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Kathleen A. "Kathy" Lusk of Wonder Lake, who passed away on March 29, 2015; and

WHEREAS, Kathleen Lusk was born on October 30, 1948; her parents were William and Mary (nee Khale) Rasmussen; she was raised in Chicago and moved with her family to Grayslake in 1961; after living for a time in Grayslake and Round Lake, she became a resident of Wonder Lake; and

WHEREAS, Kathleen Lusk was a dedicated employee of the Environmental Services Department at Centegra Hospital-McHenry for over 30 years; and

WHEREAS, Kathleen Lusk enjoyed shopping and gambling at the riverboat; and

WHEREAS, Kathleen Lusk was preceded in death by her mother and 3 brothers, Michael, Lance, and Ted; and

WHEREAS, Kathleen Lusk is survived by her husband, Dwight; 2 children, Michele Lusk and Joseph Lusk; a grandson, Coty; and 11 siblings, Linda Lazalde, Patricia Rasmussen, April (Richard) Moore, Wilma (Frank) Domingo, Mary (Bill) Schlenkert, Loralei Lazalde, Gerald (Arlene) Lazalde, Donna (Craig) Toussaint, Leonard Pavon, Joseph Kauffman, and Sandy Kauffman; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her family and friends, mourn the passing of Kathleen A. "Kathy" Lusk; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Kathleen Lusk as an expression of our sympathy.
