SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Keith B. Winn of Harvard, who passed away on February 5, 2015; and

WHEREAS, Keith Winn was born on August 11, 1953 in Woodstock; his parents were Ed and Erma (nee Kobs) Winn; he married Debora Steinmetz on July 19, 1975 in Richmond; and

WHEREAS, Keith Winn graduated from Richmond-Burton High School in 1972; and

WHEREAS, Keith Winn was employed as a mechanic at Thelen Sand and Gravel in Antioch for over 30 years; and

WHEREAS, Keith Winn was a 4-H leader for over 25 years; he also enjoyed gardening, woodworking, and John Deere tractors; and

WHEREAS, Keith Winn was preceded by his father and a nephew, Aaron Bychowski; and

WHEREAS, Keith Winn is survived by his wife, Debora; a daughter, Cassandra (Paul) Marucha; a son, Benjamin (Bernice) Winn; his mother; 3 grandchildren, Braydin Winn, Peter Marucha, and Jacob Boehlen; 4 sisters, Barbara (Robert) Howe, Marjorie (Michael) Jones, Denise (James) Bowers, and Susan (Jeffrey) Bychowski; a brother, David Winn; and many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of Keith B. Winn; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Keith Winn as an expression of our sympathy.
