SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Michael S. Hopp of Johnsburg, who passed away on November 26, 2014; and

WHEREAS, Michael Hopp was born on May 22, 1969 in Woodstock; his parents were Victor A., III and Constance (nee Hanson) Hopp; he was a lifelong resident of Johnsburg; and

WHEREAS, Michael Hopp was a graduate of Johnsburg High School; and

WHEREAS, Michael Hopp was employed as the manager of the Citgo car wash on Illinois Route 120 in McHenry; and

WHEREAS, Michael Hopp was an avid fan of the Chicago Bears; and

WHEREAS, Michael Hopp was preceded in death by his parents; and

WHEREAS, Michael Hopp is survived by 3 sisters, Cindy (Steve) Helpap, Linda Miller, and Mary (the late Larry) Harvey; 3 brothers, Victor, IV (Linda) Hopp, Thomas (Valentine) Hopp, and Christopher (Janine) Hopp; and many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of Michael S. Hopp; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Michael Hopp as an expression of our sympathy.
