SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Ronald J. Freund of Wonder Lake, who
4passed away on November 29, 2014; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Ronald Freund was born on August 21, 1953 in
6Woodstock; his parents were Leonard and Leoda (nee McCarthy)
7Freund; he married Connie Miller on July 14, 1973 in Wonder
8Lake; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Ronald Freund graduated from McHenry High School
10in 1971; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Ronald Freund served his country as a member of
12the United States Army during the Vietnam War; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Ronald Freund was employed as a United States Post
14Office Clerk until his retirement after 25 years of service; he
15also worked as a part-time associate at Walmart in Johnsburg;
16and
 
17    WHEREAS, Ronald Freund was preceded in death by his father,
18Leonard Freund, and his father-in-law, William Franklin
19Miller, Jr.; and

1    WHEREAS, Ronald Freund is survived by his wife of 41 years,
2Connie; a daughter, Jennifer "Jen" (John) Finch; 2
3granddaughters, Julia and Jaycie Finch; his mother, Leoda
4Freund; his mother-in-law, Dolores Miller; 6 brothers and
5sisters, John (Kandy) Freund, Darlette Parsons, Marlette
6(Steve) Lane, Donald (Karen) Freund, Charlette (Roger)
7Hoffman, and Jeremie (Dorothy) Freund; 2 sisters-in-law, Caren
8Rische and Christine Lippert; and many nieces, nephews, and
9godchildren; therefore, be it
 
10    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
11ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his
12family and friends, mourn the passing of Ronald J. Freund; and
13be it further
 
14    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
15presented to the family of Ronald Freund as an expression of
16our sympathy.
