SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of John J. Kuberski of Crystal Lake, who
4passed away on February 26, 2015; and
 
5    WHEREAS, John Kuberski was born in Savanna on August 2,
61950 to Julius and Emma (nee Novak) Kuberski; he was a Vietnam
7Veteran, serving in Cam Ranh Bay; and
 
8    WHEREAS, John Kuberski began his career as an auto body
9repairman and painter at Dean's Auto Body Shop in Algonquin at
10the age of 15; he continued his career at several auto body
11shops throughout his lifetime before retiring; and
 
12    WHEREAS, John Kuberski's love for painting led to the
13creation of numerous artistic pieces; his passions included his
14family and friends, restoring his 1950 Chevy Coupe Deluxe,
15traveling, camping, driving his golf cart, riding his 1977 BMW
16motorcycle, snowmobiling, gardening, canning, and his joy of
17being an NHRA race fan; and
 
18    WHEREAS, John Kuberski was preceded in death by his son,
19Jonathan Michael; his sister, Jeanne; his sister-in-law,
20Marilyn; his parents; and his in-laws; and

1    WHEREAS, John Kuberski is survived by his wife, Diane
2Kuberski (Lilly); his daughters, Jennifer (Kevin) Gray and Amy
3(Paul) Davis; his 2 grandchildren, Sophia and Jackson; his
4brothers, Julius (Connie), Mark (Helen), and Ken (Delores); his
5brother in-law, Edward (Joanna) Lilly; his sisters, Maryann
6(Terry) and Maricella; his sister-in-law, Patricia (Carl)
7Sandrik; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and
8great-nephews; his loving race family; and numerous lifelong
9friends; therefore, be it
 
10    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
11ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
12John J. Kuberski, and extend our sincere condolences to his
13family, his friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
14further
 
15    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
16presented to the family of John Kuberski as an expression of
17our deepest sympathy.
