SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Clara R. McAndrews of Bull Valley, who passed away on January 13, 2015; and

WHEREAS, Clara McAndrews was born on March 27, 1928 in Rosholt, Wisconsin; his parents were John and Rose (nee Augustiniak) Trzebiatowski; she married James I. McAndrews on May 7, 1949 at St. Adalbert Church in Rosholt; and

WHEREAS, Clara McAndrews was a homemaker most of her life; she dedicated her life to her family and raising her children; and

WHEREAS, Clara McAndrews was a longtime member of St. Patrick's Church in McHenry, where she served as a Eucharistic minister and was a member of the Ladies Guild; she also enjoyed polka; and

WHEREAS, Clara McAndrews was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James; 5 brothers, Hank, John, Frank, Ted, and Anthony; and 2 sisters, Evelyn and Patricia; and

WHEREAS, Clara McAndrews is survived by 5 children, Patrick (Mary Lou) McAndrews, Thomas McAndrews, John (Sherry) McAndrews, Anthony (Krystyna Adamczak) McAndrews, and Colleen (Jon) Wing; 8 grandchildren, Michael McAndrews, Patrick McAndrews, Justin (Hilary) McAndrews, John McAndrews, Ellen Wing, Erin Wing, Kelsa McAndrews, and Julia McAndrews; and 2 sisters, Jeanette (Thomas) Young and Loretta (the late Max) Gilmeister; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her family and friends, mourn the passing of Clara R. McAndrews; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Clara McAndrews as an expression of our sympathy.
