SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Eileen F. Stevens of Woodstock, who passed away on January 12, 2015; and

WHEREAS, Eileen Stevens was born on May 11, 1944 in Greensburg, Pennsylvania; her parents were Charles and Rose Fatur; and

WHEREAS, Eileen Stevens loved her grandchildren and enjoyed life to its fullest; she was an avid bridge player, golfer, tennis player, and world traveler; and

WHEREAS, Eileen Stevens was active as a Eucharistic minister and lector at Holy Apostles Church; and

WHEREAS, Eileen Stevens was preceded in death by her parents; and

WHEREAS, Eileen Stevens is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Chuck Stevens; 2 sons, Mark (Jay'me) Stevens and Craig (Lindsey) Stevens; 2 grandchildren, Peyton and Madelyn Stevens; a brother, Richard (Sharon) Fatur; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her family and friends, mourn the passing of Eileen F. Stevens; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Eileen Stevens as an expression of our sympathy.
