SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Anna Mae Moore of Coffeen, who passed away on December 24, 2016; and

WHEREAS, Anna Moore was born in Prentice to Thomas Francis "Frank" and Mary Ellen "Mae" (Jokisch) Newell on December 11, 1915; she married William Paul "Boots" Moore in Ashland on June 20, 1936; and

WHEREAS, Anna Moore lived in Morgan County and Ashland; she moved to Coffeen in 1954, where she lived the rest of her life; and

WHEREAS, Anna Moore was a member of the United Methodist Church in Coffeen; and

WHEREAS, Anna Moore was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William; an infant son; and her brother, Alfred Newell; and

WHEREAS, Anna Moore is survived by her children, Wilbur Anthony "Tony" Moore, Paula (Gene) Redman, Linda (Bob) Raines, Larry Moore, and twins, Jim (Barbara) Moore and Joyce (Gary) Zerrusen; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and her sister, Dorothy Vail; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Anna Mae Moore, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Anna Moore as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
