SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Sharon Lynn "Sherry" Sales, who passed away on November 16, 2016; and

WHEREAS, Sharon Sales was born in Chicago to LaVerne and Raymond Shreve on July 30, 1949; and

WHEREAS, Sharon Sales was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend who could always be counted upon to offer a helping hand to those she loved; she volunteered for Meals on Wheels and The Angelman Syndrome Foundation; and

WHEREAS, Sharon Sales enjoyed painting, beading, crocheting, sewing, and cooking; and

WHEREAS, Sharon Sales was preceded in death by her parents; and

WHEREAS, Sharon Sales is survived by Thomas (Jennifer) Schaade, Lori (Mario) Moretti, Jennifer Clark, and Michelle Ciccarelli; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; four sisters; and many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Sharon Lynn "Sherry" Sales, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Sharon Sales as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
