SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Millicent Kaminskas Semasko, who passed away on December 1, 2016, at the age of 94; and

WHEREAS, Millicent Semasko was born in North Chicago; and

WHEREAS, Millicent Semasko was preceded in death by her husbands, William Kaminskas, and Joseph Semasko; her brothers, Joseph, Martin, and Frank; and her sisters, Ann and Helen; and

WHEREAS, Millicent Semasko is survived by her daughters, Janet (Doug) Schultz, and Linda (Bud) Snyder; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Millicent Kaminskas Semasko, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Millicent Semasko as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
