SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Kathleen T. Litz of Gurnee, who passed away on December 2, 2016; and

WHEREAS, Kathleen Litz was born in Lake Forest to Thomas J. and Mary Jane Moran on January 21, 1944; and

WHEREAS, Kathleen Litz was involved with her church, community, family, and friends; and

WHEREAS, Kathleen Litz is survived by her mother, Mary Jane Moran; her sisters, Avis (Fred) Lennarson, and Mary Jane (Terry) Smythe; her brother, Thomas "Tim" J. (Linda) Moran; her sons, David (Ashley) Litz, Dennis (Charleen) Litz, and Brooks (Rebecca) Litz; her daughter, Elizabeth Ann (Merico) Blackmon; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Kathleen T. Litz, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Kathleen Litz as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
