SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Daniel A. Lawniczak of Spring Grove, who passed away on October 10, 2016; and

WHEREAS, Daniel Lawniczak was born to Henry and Eurwen (Jones) Lawniczak on August 23, 1941; after high school, he enlisted in the United States Army and proudly served his country; he married Dawn S. Koseck in Las Vegas, Nevada on March 22, 2004; and

WHEREAS, Daniel Lawniczak was known for his skill in all aspects of millwork; he was employed as a site work carpenter at R&D Thiel for 35 years; and

WHEREAS, Daniel Lawniczak enjoyed golf, his favorite sport; he also enjoyed playing bingo and poker, especially Texas Hold 'Em; and

WHEREAS, Daniel Lawniczak is survived by his wife, Dawn; his children, Laura Bostic, Andrew Lawniczak, Randy Koseck, and Nicole (Jason) McIntosh; seven grandchildren; his brothers, Thomas (Betty) Lawniczak, and Lawrence (Beverly) Lawniczak; and his sisters, Kathleen Lawniczak, and Holly (Roland) Wood; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Daniel A. Lawniczak, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Daniel Lawniczak as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
