SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Gerald L. Rodenkirch of Richmond, who
4passed away on September 14, 2016; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Gerald Rodenkirch was born on April 28, 1949; his
6parents were Hilary and Ann Rodenkirch; he married Anne Elliott
7on September 8, 1973 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in
8McHenry; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Gerald Rodenkirch worked in the sheet metal
10industry for over 40 years; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Gerald Rodenkirch was an avid fisherman and
12outdoorsman who enjoyed the "North Woods"; he also enjoyed
13taking road trips, spending time with his family and his
14Labradors, and his cabin on the lake; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Gerald Rodenkirch was preceded in death by his
16parents; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Gerald Rodenkirch is survived by his wife of 43
18years, Anne; his children, Laura (Ken Klean) Schultz and Brian
19(Sabina) Rodenkirch; his grandchildren, Camryn, Caleb, Kyle,
20Brandon, and Heather; his sister, Sandra A. (Elmer "Jim")

1Gorham; and many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, and
2nephews; therefore, be it
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his
5family and friends, mourn the passing of Gerald L. Rodenkirch;
6and be it further
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
8presented to the family of Gerald Rodenkirch as an expression
9of our sympathy.
