SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Judy Anne Anderson of Waukegan, who passed away on September 26, 2016; and

WHEREAS, Judy Anderson was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa on September 11, 1939; and

WHEREAS, Judy Anderson retired from Johns Mansville in 1996 after 37 years of service; she later retired from the City of Waukegan in 2004 after eight years of service; and

WHEREAS, Judy Anderson golfed in the women's Wednesday golf league at Shiloh Golf Course in Zion and enjoyed craft shows; and

WHEREAS, Judy Anderson was preceded in death by her father, Harold Nelson, and her stepmother, Mary Nelson; and

WHEREAS, Judy Anderson is survived by her husband of 54 years, Allan Anderson; her mother, Carol Wendel; her sister; and her sister-in-law, Audrey (James) Thomson; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Judy Anne Anderson, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Judy Anderson as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
