| | 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | | 3 | | learn of the death of Donavan "Torgy" Torgerson of Crystal | | 4 | | Lake, who passed away on August 5, 2016; and
| | 5 | | WHEREAS, Donavan Torgerson was born on September 14, 1939 | | 6 | | in Clearbrook, Minnesota; his parents were Alvin and Genevieve | | 7 | | Torgerson; and
| | 8 | | WHEREAS, Donavan Torgerson was an active member of Roofers | | 9 | | Union Local #11 for 33 years until his retirement; and
| | 10 | | WHEREAS, Donavan Torgerson was preceded in death by his | | 11 | | parents; his daughter, Jennifer; his son-in-law, Thomas; and | | 12 | | his brothers-in-law, Jimmy, Dick, and Steve; and
| | 13 | | WHEREAS, Donavan Torgerson is survived by his wife, Bonnie; | | 14 | | his children, Sherry (Dave) Hansen, Heidi Nejmeh, Brad | | 15 | | (Melissa) Torgerson, Chad (Mariwin) Torgerson, Joy (Terry) | | 16 | | Thomas, and Van Torgerson; his grandchildren, Matthew, | | 17 | | Miranda, Kaylie, Brooke, Bridget, Sarah, Jacob, Jameson, | | 18 | | Brady, Genevieve, Elliana, and Jonathan; his siblings, Yvonne | | 19 | | Jones, Janet Tesnow, Gail Block, and Daryl (Linda) Torgerson; | | 20 | | and many loving relatives and friends; therefore, be it
