SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Erwin George Packard Jr. of McHenry, who passed away on August 15, 2016; and

WHEREAS, Erwin Packard Jr. was born in Whitelake, Wisconsin to Erwin George and Enid Evelyn (Tomlin) Packard on June 7, 1933; he married Isolde "Pat" Lohbronner in Munich, Germany; and

WHEREAS, Erwin Packard Jr. served in the United States Army during the Korean War; and

WHEREAS, Erwin Packard Jr. is survived by his wife, Pat; his children, Robert (Sandra) Packard and Terry (Sundae) Packard; his grandchildren, Ashley and Lorenzo; his great-grandchildren, Austin and Leo; his brother, Alfred (Sally) Packard; and many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Erwin George Packard Jr., and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Erwin Packard Jr. as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
