SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Robert J. Fridlund of Elk Grove Village, who passed away on July 16, 2016; and

WHEREAS, Robert Fridlund was married to Norine for 54 years; and

WHEREAS, Robert Fridlund retired from Illinois Bell/AT&T after 33 years of service; and

WHEREAS, Robert Fridlund served in the United States Navy; and

WHEREAS, Robert Fridlund was a 4th Degree member of the Albert Cardinal Meyer Knights of Columbus Council 5751; and

WHEREAS, Robert Fridlund were the beloved father of Julie (Chris) Martin, Colleen Muff, Christopher (Joyce), and Stephen Fridlund; the cherished grandfather of Megan, Kayla (Cole) Pfeiffer, Emily Kadrich, Jaqueline Muff, and Jacob and Linnea Fridlund; and the great-grandfather of Brayden Pfeiffer and Sophie Kadrich; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Robert J. Fridlund, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Robert Fridlund as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
