SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Jacqueline C. Sund of Richmond, who passed away on July 1, 2016; and

WHEREAS, Jacqueline Sund was born in Park Ridge to Alfred and Jacqueline Peterson on February 6, 1955; and

WHEREAS, Jacqueline Sund was a dedicated employee of Centegra Health Systems for 40 years, where she worked as an intensive care unit nurse, eventually becoming nursing supervisor; she was a member of the Flight For Life Team; and

WHEREAS, Jacqueline Sund was the adoring pet owner of dogs, Mr. Bo Jangles and Bentley, and cats, Eli and Peyton Manning; she loved to spend time sewing, gardening, and resale shopping; and

WHEREAS, Jacqueline Sund was preceded in death by her mother, Jacqueline Peterson; and

WHEREAS, Jacqueline Sund is survived by her husband of 41 years, Daniel Sund; her children, Heidi and Daniel Sund; her father, Alfred Peterson; her sisters, Peggie Jurgens and Debbie Selby; and her brother, Daniel Peterson; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Jacqueline C. Sund, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Jacqueline Sund as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
