SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Marilyn S. Gumprecht-Grever, who passed away on June 19, 2016; and

WHEREAS, Marilyn Gumprecht-Grever was born on July 3, 1934 in Belvidere; her parents were Herman and Elsie Kunde; she married Richard W. Gumprecht, Sr. on May 23, 1953 in Pacific Grove, California; and

WHEREAS, Marilyn Gumprecht-Grever retired from Aubrey Manufacturing after 30-plus years of employment; and

WHEREAS, Marilyn Gumprecht-Grever enjoyed gardening, playing pinochle, camping, traveling, bowling, golf, and spending time with her family; and

WHEREAS, Marilyn Gumprecht-Grever was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Richard, Sr.; her second husband, Earl Grever; her daughter, Diana Stock; her son-in-law, Kurt Stock; and seven brothers and sisters; and

WHEREAS, Marilyn Gumprecht-Grever is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Richard (Janice) Gumprecht, Jr.; her grandchildren, Eric and Brian Gumprecht and Aimee and James (Melisa Suda) Creighton; her great-grandchildren, Tyler and Jaedyn Maule; her lifelong friend, Marilyn Swanson; and many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her family and friends, mourn the passing of Marilyn S. Gumprecht-Grever; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Marilyn Gumprecht-Grever as an expression of our sympathy.
