SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Donald M. Cameron of McHenry, who passed away on May 7, 2016; and

WHEREAS, Donald Cameron was born in Barrington to George and Eva (Lytle) Cameron on May 2, 1939; he attended Wauconda High School and enlisted in the United States Army in 1957, proudly serving his country until 1962; and

WHEREAS, Donald Cameron married Regina Celliti on May 8, 1965; and

WHEREAS, Donald Cameron was a member of the Island Lake American Legion and the Island Lake Lions Club; he was involved in many bowling and horseshoe leagues; he coached Little League Baseball and was an avid NASCAR fan; and

WHEREAS, Donald Cameron was preceded in death by his wife, Regina; and

WHEREAS, Donald Cameron is survived by his two sons, Patrick (Patricia) and William; his dear friend, Elsie Rosenquist; and his brother, Douglas Cameron; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Donald M. Cameron, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Donald Cameron as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
