SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of James Joseph Cockerill of Gurnee, who passed away on May 14, 2016; and

WHEREAS, James Cockerill was the loving husband of Merry; the loving stepfather of Greg Jameson and Liz Carpender; the "Papa" of Henry and Halliday Carpender; the "BaBa" of Dashka, Donduv, and Dorja Jameson; the son of the late Kathleen and Ralph Cockerill; and the loving brother of Jan Franks, John Cockerill, and Julie Thompson; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of James Joseph Cockerill; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of James Cockerill as an expression of our sympathy.
