SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Debbra J. Spitzbart of Woodstock, who passed away on April 5, 2016; and

WHEREAS, Debbra Spitzbart was born on July 3, 1953 in Woodstock; her parents were Martin and Lucille Knuth; she married David Spitzbart on September 15, 1973 in Crystal Lake; and

WHEREAS, Debbra Spitzbart was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Woodstock; and

WHEREAS, Debbra Spitzbart worked for many years as a teacher's aide, book seller, and house manager at the Woodstock Opera House; she loved the theatre and worked in many capacities behind the scenes and as a producer; she also served as a board member for the Woodstock Musical Theatre Company and was very active with the Town Square Players; and

WHEREAS, Debbra Spitzbart was an avid reader and home decorator; she also enjoyed spending time with her loving family; and

WHEREAS, Debbra Spitzbart was preceded in death by her parents; her father-in-law, Gus Spitzbart; her sister-in-law, Norma Spitzbart; and her nephew, Jeremy Spitzbart; and

WHEREAS, Debbra Spitzbart is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, David Spitzbart; her children, Brad Spitzbart and Ellen (Zach Conrad) Spitzbart; a grandson on the way; her twin sister, Barb (Arnold) Diedrich; her mother-in-law, Edna Spitzbart; her sister-in-law, Barb (Craig) Zivic; and her many nieces, nephews, and friends; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her family and friends, mourn the passing of Debbra J. Spitzbart; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Debbra Spitzbart as an expression of our sympathy.
